Katie Farina is the founder of Katie's Healing Kitchen, a plant-based cooking school in San Diego. She is a graduate of The Natural Epicurean in Austin, Texas, a culinary school specializing in Ayurvedic, Raw, and Macrobiotic cuisine. Over the past decade, Katie has taught cooking classes across the country for wellness spas, companies, and in her own school.

Inspired by her mother's cancer diagnosis, Katie felt called to bridge the gap between the food we eat and our health. Her mission is to use food as medicine, making healthy eating not only simple and approachable, but also vibrant, joyful, and delicious.
